Last April, our friend Kelly adopted a three year old Basset Hound named Buckley. Last month he ruptured a disk in his spine which required emergency surgery. The surgery was a success and he is back home doing his daily physical therapy and recovering bit by bit. One remaining issue is the vet bill, which is $8000.
That's a crazy amount to spend at the vet but Kelly took this on and hasn't asked for help. We feel like helping her with this and know some of her other friends do too. Everyone knows her heart is much bigger than her wallet.
