Medical Leadership Conference

This summer I hope to attend the National Student Leadership Conference for the Medicine and Healthcare program at the John Hopkins School of Medicine. As a sophomore in high school my goal is to become a part of the medical profession when I graduate. I would like to complete medical school and possibly become a surgeon. I have always had a strong passion towards medicine and science. Excelling in my education is something that excites me as I have a 4.0 GPA, and perform as a high achieving academic student. The course offers performing clinical rounds, learning medical examination, surgical techniques, and participating in fatal disease simulations.  Attending this conference would help further my research and education on learning what it is like to be a healthcare worker.
