Technology Trip

My name is Nicole Campbell, and I am 13 years old. I have always envisioned myself with a career in science, technology or engineering. I was recently nominated by my technology teacher for a technology and engineering trip that will take place at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois this summer, called the National Youth Leadership Forum: Explore STEM. This is a 6 day program where we will explore the many different areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Some of the experiences I would gain from this program include visiting a science and technology museum, participating in various technology workshops, learning how STEM relates to medicine and critical care, performing field sample collection and observation, and planning for a future in the stem fields. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I would hate to miss. Not only would any donations help support my ability to take part in this event, but I am also pledging to voulenteer at Second Harvest Food Pantry 1 hour a week for every $100 that are donated.
