Grace Chapel Youth Trip to U.S.

This past January I was blessed to be able to travel to Cape Town South Africa for two weeks as part of a Mission Imersion Experience (M.I.E.) with some of my fellow seminary classmates. Our host while there were the wonderful folks at Grace Chapel who invited us into their homes, provied us many of our meals, transported us every where we needed to go, and served as our local guides and cultural liasions.  Most importanly, they exemplified the hospitlaity of Christ.

While there I learned that the youth group at Grace Chapel has been saving for the past three years so that they could visit the United States in 2014.  In addition to the oppertunity to see and experience our beautiful country they will be participating in community development workshops and take that knowledge back home to use in their own communities.

I have set my goal at $2000.00 which is the price of one round trip ticket.  The youth and young adults at Grace Chapel have raised nearly all of the funds they need but could use our help so that the whole group can make the journey. 

I invite you as my Facebook friends and family to help me support the youth at Grace Chapel with a donation. Perhaps your youth group, Sunday School, or congregation would like to support them with a donation as well.
