Bellflower BMX Rebuild/Asphalt

Alright everyone, we have some exciting news coming to Bellflower Bmx. As everyone knows, we have always been looking for ways to improve the track and skill of all the riders that come visit and ride each week. With that being said, we are still looking for improvements to the track to make it faster, smoother and more suitable to riders of all ages and skill levels. Our goal at Bellflower has always been to make it one of the best tracks in California. There are some things we would like to do to make this dream a reality. Next year we are trying to plan another rebuild of just the straights, keeping the turns in place. The reason for this is because our ultimate goal would be to have the turns asphalted sometime next year. Depending on the available funds, we will start with paving the first turn. We know this is not cheap and we have several ideas on how to raise money, with this being one of them.  Also, I have been talking to a few of the local riders and we are going to try and put on a monthly clinic with at least 4 pros to help the students each clinic. All proceeds from that clinic will go towards the track rebuild/asphalt fund. Our goal would be to have everything done by summer of 2016. If anyone has other ideas on ways to raise money for the track, feel free to message my mom or me. With everyone’s help, this is more than possible and Bellflower will only get better from here.
