Pray for Isaiah. Three simple words.
Isaiah McLean has Dilated Cardiomyopathy. A few hours after birth he had what is similar to an adult heart attack that caused the back side of the left ventricle (of his heart) to be enlarged. As a result, part of it is paralyzed and unable to squeeze the blood out of his heart. Initially, doctors thought Isaiah might need a new heart, but it learned to compensate. His heart will
most likely get weaker because it is working overtime. His energy is low so he lacks the strength to eat or suck on a bottle, so he requires a feeding tube.
And to add insult to injury, Isaiah's older brother Joshua has brain damage and sensory processing disorder due to the lack of oxygen and heart rate at birth and has recently been diagnosed with a mild form Cerebral Palsy.
Many of us know Cindi 'Schiess' McLean and Lenno McLean and what they've endured over the past year. Cindi had to stop working to take care of Isaiah. Lenno had to cut back his hours at work, effectively cutting his salary in half. While insurance covers most expenses, the financial burden the family must incur includes out-of-pocket expenses and general living expenses.

Cindi and Lenno's positive outlook despite what they're facing continues to inspire the community. We look forward to Isaiah being able to live a normal, healthy life.
