Cooper's Dominican Republic Mission Trip

Family and Friends,
I wanted to share with you a ministry opportunity God has presented to Haley and I. From June 16 through June 24, we have been given the opportunity to minister to the people of the Dominican Republic with a group from our church, Church of Celebration - Metro. This 10-day mission trip will be reaching out and spreading the gospel to the people of the Dominican. There are numerous opportunities we will have to minister to the people and a chance to learn more about their culture.
While God has opened a door to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, He can use you to share in this ministry. Most of all, we need your prayers. Prayers that he will prepare our hearts and minds for this mission trip, for safety while we are there, for the people that we will be ministering to and that we will be able to raise the needed funds for the trip. The funds needed for this trip will provide transportation and other essentials, but will also help us buy the supplies for the Vacation Bible Schools we will be conducting and some of the other ministries that we will be involved in.
At this time we need to raise $3000 to meet our portion of the financial goal for the trip. Another way that you can be involved is to share in some of that financial support. Would you consider supporting Haley and I with a donation? If you would prefer to mail it please contact me for the address.
We will need to raise all the funds by May 1 in order to pay for the airline tickets and other items. Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer or both, all of your support is greatly appreciated.
