The Roast-Over

Hey folks!

I am in the middle of planning an event to celebrate a huge milestone in my life: graduation and my 30th birthday. I wouldn't want anything else than to spend it with a huge BBQ, drinks, and music to groove and grind to with the company of my friends.

So far this is what I have in mind:
-pig roast
-BBQ (with legit meats; none of that hamburger stuff), including vegetarian options
-sangria bar (other liquor/drinks welcome as well)
-DJ/music with all the hip-hop/soul/old-school jams you can groove to

ALL IN ONE HUGE BACKYARD

I will be renting the American River Grange facility for the event. Since there is a pig roast, it does require all day to roast the pig in order to have it served by early evening.

I have put aside a budget to rent the facility, but am also asking for YOUR HELP. If you are interested in attending, please feel free to donate $$$. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated! This will go towards food, drinks, equipment, DJ, and favors.

If you happen to be a BBQ afficianado or know of anyone who is, I also welcome a group of 5 to help me plan the actual pig roast. This includes everything from gettin up in the early AM, prepping, setting up, roasting, cleaning.
