Russ has just been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He is the youth pastor for his local church, an incredible husband and father. He serves the youth and the Lord with a reckless faith and determination. He is the best kind of friend, one that you can be away from for years at a time and feel like you never missed a beat. He and his wife Eva have a beautiful little girl Lainie Rose and are expecting the birth of Caroline Bailey in July! Russ is starting chemo therapy this week and will undergo treatment for the next six months.

To put it very simply, Russ is an amazing human, a gift and light to all who have had and will have the incredible pleasure of him in their lives. I know he has been to me and to my wife, who has known him his entire life. Russ' life has been difficult already, but with each new challenge he relies on his friends and faith to make it through. I don't expect anything different now! So friends, let's get busy and help one of the most deserving families  there ever could be with a joyful heart and hope for a long, bright future!
