My Daughter Kayla is in need of immediate financial help. She has lost her home, her health, her family, and her dogs.
Kayla is going through both extreme medical and traumatic life issues that have left her and her family financially depleted.
The recent chain of events started 2 months ago when Kayla was rushed to the hospital by her boyfriend on January 19th, 2025. Kayla was not able to breathe due to a severe infection that traveled to her spleen, heart, lungs, and brain. She was hospitalized for over 6 weeks in critical condition, in and out of consciousness.
While fighting for her life in the hospital, another chain of a person's worst fears in life-altering events was happening simultaneously with her boyfriend, her home, and her dogs of over 10 years.
When Kayla regained consciousness, she found out that her boyfriend had committed suicide early in Kayla's hospital stay; however, no one knew he had passed away for several weeks.
All of the home's contents were cleaned out and disposed of by the landlord due to the smell of the deceased body of her boyfriend. Kayla was not on the lease, so the landlord did not know how to even reach Kayla, and he proceeded to just clean out the home and got rid of everything.
When Kayla was finally discharged from the hospital, she was informed that nothing was left in the house. Even her sister's ashes were gone. Everything Kayla ever had in her 29 years is forever gone. Kayla has the clothes she went into the hospital with and that is it.
Kayla's precious fur kids, Fluffy and Choober, that were in the care of her boyfriend at their home were confiscated by animal control when the coroner took away the body. Animal control was able to immediately place them with a rescue where they were adopted out before Kayla ever had a chance to get them back. The rescue had no idea how to reach Kayla as everything was gone from the home and they had no idea how to reach her as she did not even have her phone left in her possession.
Kayla's mother is deceased, her 21-year-old sister passed away in 2021 from fentanyl poisoning, she has lost her boyfriend and roommate of 4 years, she has lost her dogs, and she is still fighting for her life. I am retired and living on social security with very little money to be able to help her rebuild her life.
Kayla is temporarily staying with a close friend in Florida but very much needs financial help to even have a chance at getting back on her feet while she deals with a multitude of ongoing very serious medical issues.
Kayla has miraculously survived tragedy after tragedy. She is a fighter but even fighter's need help. Kayla survived being struck by a speeding car 4 years ago that slammed into the back of her car breaking her neck, resulting in 7 titanium pins in her neck.
Please help this young woman who deserves a new beginning in life.
