A Friend In Need

My best friend, Kris, and her daughter, Mya, just lost their home in a fire.  They were left with the clothes on their backs and Mya's school backpack.  I am so thankful that they are both ok, as everything else can slowly be replaced.  Unfortunately, I live in California and am not nearby to provide any immediate help to them.  They are currently staying with her family, but will need assistance replacing everything that was lost.  I am devastated that my friend has to go through this and hope that those of you who know her and Mya will help in any way that you can.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.  I have minimal details, as Kris lost her phone.  As I know more, I will provide an update.  My heart goes out to her and Mya.
