Burial Expenses for Jim (Tina Bull-Pyne)

Donation protected
We have all had our share of sadness and tragedy over the years and the one constant through it all has been our friends. It didn't matter where our lives took us; one thing was for sure when we need each other, we are there. There to pick up the pieces that life left behind, to guide us through the dark, and help us find peace.

Tina Bull-Pyne, her family and nephews need all that friendship defines. They have endured a lifetime of losses in their family. Tina has had to say goodbye to her father, three sisters, Sue, Lisa and Kim, all who were very young and then her sweet mom.

Her nephew, James McCormick, passed away on March 15th. He was one of Sue's five sons. It was unexpected and devastating to Tina, Tim, their children and most importantly his brothers Brian, Dominick, Jason and Anthony Lento. Over the years, Tina and her family, along with some cherished friends help raise Jim and Brian.

As we all know, planning the funeral and burial are part of the grieving process and road to healing. Without it, we are left waiting to be able to move on. With the help of family, Jim's funeral was this past Friday. His family and friends were able to came together to honor him and celebrate his life.

When talking to Tina during the week, I asked her where the burial would be. With a heavy heart she sighed and said she wasn't sure. She and Brian agreed that the only place they could lay Jim to rest would be with his mother, Sue. Tina knowing how expensive burials are knew she didn't have the finances to do that.  The thought of Jim being alone anywhere else is unthinkable. He needs to be with his mom. The weight of this decision should not and cannot be based on money.

I believe in the power of paying it forward, the power of friendship and more importantly, I believe this family has had their share of pain and needs to find peace with Jim's passing. They need to be able to move ahead. They need to know their brother; nephew and uncle is peacefully with his mom.

I am respectfully asking everyone to please donate something to help this family. Our goal is $8,000.00, which covers all the expenses of joining Jim with his mom, marking his final resting place as well as a second place with them if any of the children should ever need it.

Please feel free to share this with anyone you know.
