Thank you for caring, God bless you!

Hello brothers and sisters and all who care, first off, I want to say thank you God and thank you to all who prayed for my son and especially for those of you who was able to contribute and help out a fellow vet in need of morale and financial support. I know it's tough times in the economy and A prayer is all I ask but you guys came thru and deliverd a great turn out for my son especially Pat Romano and Patrick Hubert! (There are a lot more names I want to put here but god knows what you have done for my son, God bless you.)It has been very difficult and a lot of hard times but the kind messages and supportive response has helped alieveate some of those hardships. Currently right now my son is fighting the cancer and has been doing well in doing so. We have been in what's called intensive therapy for the last two months which means every other day to Charlottesville and he gets several shots of chemo due to a bad reaction to the I.V dose each time including several platelets and blood transfusions and not to mention the week long stays for the strongest chemo dose that he gets. He also gets several spinal taps and spinal infusions to prevent the cancer from spreading to his spine and brain which they put him to sleep while this is done. It's been a very long 8 months  with several bad days and hard long weeks but I am so greatful for the support and prayers I have received from my military family and the families of others. I am so blessed to have you guys and so I ask for your help once more. As embarrassing as it is for me to ask for help, I come to my family and friends for your help as I don not have any blood relitives in this country. We are at angels final stages of this high dose chemo every other day visits and then we move into what's called monthly maintnence which is once a month clinic visits and the occasional spinal taps and infusions for two and a half years! After the two and half years of monthly we move into every other month for two years at which point after the five year mark, angel will be a cancer survivor!!!!!! I don't want to jump the gun but we are almost there, that's why I come to guys now to help me in this fight for my son. Currently I have enough funds to last one more week due to the last two months of this hard core treatment, but I'm scared cause we have about two and a half weeks of this treatment left and his chemo alone is $750 a week. I do not have social services such as snaps(food stamps) or Medicaid as I make 40 dollars over what you must make to qualify. I pay my own sons insurance and my v.a benifits barely cover my families expense but not a family with a cancer patient. That is why I'm so hurt right now, and now instead of the "normal" chemo treatments they give I am on a abnormal treatment due to my sons bad reaction to the chemo. Which just means more constant visits and more shots then normal which means more bills and co payments and more gas... So I ask only in a prayer and what ever else that can be done is Gods will and I trust in The Lord and I love you all. God bless you for just reading this and if you can pass this along post it and get it out as much as possible would be such a blessing. Thank you for your time and thank you for helping my son and my God never let you know cancer. The Juarez family, Alex, Angel, and Ismenia Juarez.
