<div>My name is Anastasija. I’m 42 years old. It’s 5 a.m. as I write this, because I can’t sleep — not from pain, but from the heavy feeling that I need to ask for help.

<div>I’m a kind, empathetic person. I used to work as a cosmetologist — a job I truly loved. For many years, my mother and I lived in the UK, but I’ve returned to Lithuania in 2016.

<div>I have stage IV cancer with metastases throughout my body — in my spine, bones, lungs, and two months ago doctors have discovered a large tumor in my brain and that has now spread through most part of my brain. My hip is fractured due to the disease, and my spine is under such pressure that doctors warned I could become paralyzed or even die at any moment. But I want to live — I truly, desperately want to live.

<div>Since 2019, I’ve had:

<div>	•	3 rounds of chemotherapy

<div>	•	4 surgeries


</div>


<div>	•	2 courses of radiation therapy (including full-brain radiation)

<div>I’ve done everything I can, but public Lithuanian hospitals have failed me. I’ve felt like just another number, just another “case,” while my condition quietly worsened. Now, I’ve finally turned to a private clinic “OST KLINIKA”, where I feel hope again — but the cost is overwhelming.  All the treatment in a private clinic will cost around €6,000-7,000.  The next visit, which must be paid now - €970. I have no way to pay for it. ( all the documents can be provided).

<div>Right now, I live with my 80-year-old mother. We once had a small business, but it collapsed. Now, we survive on two small pensions — €380 each. I have a mortgage with a monthly payment of €490, and we barely make ends meet. Sometimes there’s not even enough for food.

<div>On top of that, I’ve been in intense pain from my fractured hip and am swollen all over from fluid retention caused by the illness and medication.

<div>I’m tired. I’m scared. But I still have hope.

Меня зовут Анастасия. Мне 42 года. Сейчас 5 утра, когда я пишу этот пост, потому что не могу спать — не от боли, а от тяжелого чувства, что мне нужно обратиться за помощью.

Я добрый, чуткий человек. Раньше работала косметологом — работа, которую я действительно любила. Много лет мы с мамой жили в Великобритании, но в 2016 году я вернулась в Литву. <span> </span>

<div><span>У меня рак четвертой стадии с метастазами по всему телу — в позвоночнике, костях, легких и мозге. Из-за болезни у меня сломано бедро, а позвоночник находится под таким давлением, что врачи предупреждали, что могу стать парализованной или даже умереть в любой момент. Но я хочу жить — я действительно, отчаянно хочу жить.

С 2019 года у меня было:</span>

Я чувствовала себя просто еще одним номером в очереди, просто еще одним обыденным  «случаем» в то время как мое состояние тихо ухудшалось. Теперь я наконец обратилась в частную клинику “OST KLINIKA”, где у меня снова появилась надежда — но стоимость неподъемная. Все лечение в частной клинике обойдется примерно в 6000–7000 евро. Следующий визит, который нужно оплатить сейчас — 970 евро. У меня нет возможности его оплатить. (все документы могу предоставить).</span>
