Ray Family

Christy Ray and her children, Cody and Sarah, suffered a terrible loss on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Steve Ray, Christy's husband and Cody and Sarah's dad, passed away unexpectedly from a massive heart attack.  Steve owned and operated SDR Heating & Cooling. He was a wonderful friend, neighbor, and family man who will be missed dearly. Steve was the kind of guy who would, quite literally, give you the shirt off his back. He was always up for a project and always the first to offer a helping hand when it came to building and fixing things.
Christy has been a fixture at Mount Param North Church, Johnston Elementary and 360 Tumble & Gymnastics for many years. She teaches two year old preschool at Timothy Lutheran Church. She is a loyal volunteer and member of the School Advisory Council at Johnston where the children have attended (Sarah is in 4th grade and Cody is now in 6th grade at Mill Creek Middle). The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help ease the financial burden in the immediate future. Christy's kind heart and selfless nature have touched so many; its our turn to embrace this family and show them love during this unimaginable time. Thank you all for your outpouring of support!
