Theatrical Training and Study Abroad

Hello, everyone! I'm from the island of Saipan, in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands! I am a theatre student at Northern Kentucky University, and I am fundraising for a trip that I am taking to London, England! I was accepted into Guildhall School of Music and Drama's summer drama intensive, and will be attending their Acting in Musical Theatre courses!

Guildhall Summer Drama

The reason I'm starting this fundraising is because my theatre department doesn't have any scholarship money available for me, and I am paying from my college savings. Guildhall doesn't offer any scholarships either, unfortunately.

What you would be supporting are these things:

1. Housing Fees
2. Airfare/Travel while in London
3. Shows/Food
4. Emergency Funds

I have paid for some of the costs, but must raise as much as possible, in order to cover the rest and save the money in my savings for my normal college classes! I am DETERMINED to fundraise by myself because I don't want to use my mom's money, when she's got plenty of costs to worry about-- she was injured on bereavement, and broke her wrist, and medical bills in the mainland can get RIDICULOUS. And so, I am being even more independent, especially in this case. :]

The course runs from July 21st to August 8th, 2014.
