Medical emergency

My daughter, Georgia Alley is a newly licensed nurse just starting the career she has always dreamed of, a 47 yr old single Mom raising two young teens by herself.  About 10 days ago she ruptured her left cornea, and screamed with tremendous pain. She was transported to UTMB Hospital in Galveston, TX. Her eye was swollen shut and the pain was unbearable.  We were excited that The pain specialist saw her Friday and changed her pain meds to meds with an anti-inflammatory which made the swelling go down and the pain manageable for the first time in over a week. This morning a group of eye specialists could now have a good look into her eye, but not good news. The eye is still leaking fluid, and must be sealed to prevent infection. It is not looking like a cornea is even possible now. It is quite possible she may need an artificial eye.  We are not sure how this will effect her nursing career in the future, but she will probably be in the hospital for a few more weeks and not released until final repairs are made one way or the other. She has used up her sick pay and her vacation pay this week and has no disability pay. Financial assistance is needed to handle her monthly bills until she gets back on her feet. Any and all is greatly appreciated.  thank you.
