Sylvia's Cancer Battle!

Donation protected
My wife, Sylvia, was diagnosed with stage lung IV cancer. We had just returned from a trip to Los Cabos San Lucas when she felt a pain in her leg. We thought she had pulled a muscle playing beach volleyball (that was all Caedmon, or 11 year old wanted to do every day!). Her calf got swollen and hot and hurt to touch so she went to the doctor. The doctor did an ultrasound discovering the blod clot. This was quite a shock. Sylvia doesn't smoke, is predominately vegetarian (fish occassionally) and exercises 5x a week. A few days later she felt a pressure in her chest. She feared a pulmonary embolism. A CT scan revealed her lymph nodes in her chest were enlarged. Lots of tests followed (PET, another CT, some triple phase something, blood tests) and finally a biopsy to test one of the lymph nodes in her chest. The doctor called a day later telling her she had cancer and to come in for more tests. Finally, this is what he said, "You have lung cancer, but we can't find a tumor. It's stage IV. You have 6-9 months to live. With chemotherapy I can buy you three more months, maybe a year." We thanked the doctor and left, continued to pray, and thought it over. The next day the doctor called to schedule her first chemotherapy sesson and to install a "port". "No thank you, doctor," she said. "I'm going to heal myself from within." And so began this new challege. I would like to thank all of those who support my beautiful wife along this less traveled road. Some have sent money, many have sent prayers, and many have sent their own personal stories of overcoming cancer; most have sent a combination of all three.  She is a great mother and an awesome wife. She has spent her carreer at Tobinworld's Brill School of Autism helping students become the best version of themselves they can be. I am looking for help to send her to an alternative cancer treatment center, Oasis of Hope. This is our best chance to beat this! Please help.
