Baby Boy Favero is in need of your love, prayers, and support. On Friday, December 13th, 2013 "“ at 20 weeks "“ Bret and Britni Favero found out their baby boy has a serious heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). The family knows that Baby Boy will need at least 3 open-heart surgeries by the age of 3, with a worse case scenario of needing a heart transplant sometime in his life. Baby Boy's first surgery will take place within the first week of his life and he will be in the NICU/PICU anywhere between 4-6 weeks after his birth. His next surgery will take place anywhere between 3-6 months, and another between 18months-3 years of age.
We love this little guy so much already and want to give him every chance at the best life possible, along with relieving his parents with as much worry and concern as we can so they can focus all their care and attention on loving him and caring to all of his needs.
All funds donated will be used to cover medical expenses that are not covered by insurance. If there is excess from one surgery it will be held over to cover costs of the following surgery. In general heart surgeries costs hundreds of thousands of dollars and the family will be liable for a portion of it, therefore any and all help is appreciated beyond our words.
