Darren Braithwait Medical Fund

Darren Braithwait, 32, single dad and 2 tour Iraq War veteran had an aortic aneurysm and a stroke on March 12, 2014. The doctors successfully repaired the arteries to his heart during emergency surgery, but he still has a long road ahead of him and remains in Intensive Care at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska.

Darren has two children, Brenna is 10 years old and Braiden is 9 years old. They have been visiting him as much as possible.

Darren is conscious and able to communicate with hand gestures and squeezes since he still is on a respirator at this time. Despite all the trauma he has been through, he is joking with his family as best as he can. He is also fighting pneumonia.

This fund will go toward his medical and rehabilitation expenses and toward any related expenses that his sister, Mindy, and his mother, Deb, have incurred to remain by his side in the hospital.

Darren and his family are grateful for God's mercy through all of this and appreciate any prayers that you send up for them all.
