Help Erin Fight a Tumor

Erin had been experiencing some intense, debilitating abdominal pain, and after a doctor's appointment learned that the doctor identified a mass in her abdomen. This could mean so many different outcomes and life changes for our family, even at its least severe.

The certainties in her future include further scans, an endoscopy, biopsy, and surgery to remove the mass. The uncertainties lie in the type of mass that it is (benign, pre-cancerous or cancerous).

Of course, this is difficult on our family. We told the boys Erin would be having surgery, but they are not fully aware of the extent of the possibilities, as until we know for sure what is going to happen, we don't want to worry them.

We have had so many people ask us how they could help in a practical way, and the most significant way we could think of is to help relieve the burden of medical bills, and for meals for our family as she recovers.
