Elaziğ Earthquake

As many of you know Elaziğ in Turkey was struck by a disastrous Earthquake on the 24th January.
Fatalities, injuries, deaths & loss of homes are amongst the tragedy. Many sleeping in freezing conditions with no home, food or shelter. Charities and aid workers are offering food and round the clock care for basic necessities but we would like to directly help families.
Many are also aware this is the city where our family live, where my husband was born and comes from. Good people who are suffering and will continue to, without help.
Our aim is to raise funds and present to families that are struggling and have lost their home.
Your donation, however small, WILL help. You only realise when it happens to a place you're very familiar with, the reality seems overwhelming.
My husband will travel to Turkey soon and will exchange the funds for food cards. He will then distribute these to many families who have lost everything.
Our business in the city (Akarsu Turkish Restaurant) will also be providing vital donations.
