Sustainable Design Adventure

I have been invited to join a distinguished delegation of architects and planners on a ten day journey through Yunnan and
Shanghai.  The purpose of the trip is to to study housing in China's Yunnan Province and explore options for continuing engagement in sustainability initiatives in the region.  View the itinerary here http://www.aia-ysn.com/itinerary/

Many of you know of my love of travel and have seen the many photos from my explorations in Peru, Brazil, Belize, Ghana, London, Italy, France and many other locations.  My love of architecture and urban design parallels this affection so participating in this trip is a priority for me.  

We must raise the funds on our own to be able to participate.

The cost of the trip will be approximately $5,000
(includes $2,950 land itinerary, $1350 airfare plus meals and incidentals.)    

Any donation you make will be greatly appreciated.  Furthermore, your name and/or organization will included as my official travel sponsor in any presentations or papers written about my experience after the conclusion of the trip.
