Friends and family,

This upcoming October I will be venturing off to Newcastle, Australia with YWAM (Youth With a Mission). There, I will be doing a DTS (discipleship training school) which includes 3 months of training and 3 months of outreach. For quite a bit I struggled with restlessness while contemplating what to do after high school. But The Lord kept reminding me that whatever He had for me on the other side, isn't going to be mediocre; That He would supply fulfillment wherever He leads: YWAM has always been an option for me and something that seemed perfect for what I want to do. TRAVEL! Experience culture and spread the heart of Jesus!

On New Year's Eve this past winter I had a conversation with Esther, the woman who was giving me a pedicure. Our chat was a total divine appointment! We were talking and she told me about her son who is involved with YWAM. I was so excited to hear about it and told her how I have wanted to go as well. Esther encouraged the mess out of me. Saying things like, "You've gotta go! This is confirmation, a God moment! You are so young; this is the time to do it!". That day, I just knew. YWAM is for me! I went home with a sick pedi and a full heart and began to research the where's and the when's. One thing after another kept falling into place. I applied for the school and got accepted the following day!!! Haha, praise God!

So! I will be in Newcastle for my lecture phase, which is about 3 months. The remainder of my trip is the outreach phase, which is another 3 months. We will be going to another location during this phase. I am not sure where yet. We decide that during the lecture phase.

With all of this said, folks, I am about to embark on an adventure that my little heart is so thirsty for. A huge thanks to my best friend Jesus for shining some light on this route and giving me the grace to dive into it! I know it's going to change my life... Life is so exciting with Jesus because He makes all things new!!!

To wrap it all up, I would be humbled and delighted to know that I am covered with your prayers throughout this adventure.
