Despite the hard circumstances that many of the Crenshaw High School students face, it is notorious for producing some of the Nation's greatest athletes. As an athlete herself, Ashley Conrad saw an opportunity to sew into this school as a testament to her belief in sports and the ability that it instills in athletes to overcome.

She was invited as a part of a corporate event to come into the school as an event participant, and quickly realized that after the event was over there was an extreme need at the school.

This is when she decided that these students not only deserved follow through:but needed it. Her brand Clutch Bodyshop abides by the quote, "WHEN A STRONG BODY AND FEARLESS MIND MEET WITH COMMON PURPOSE, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE". This is the legacy she wants to leave for the Crenshaw students.

The student athletes at Crenshaw had no weight room to train in unless they were football players until Ashley Conrad,CEO of Clutch Bodyshop, and Michael Citrone, owner of Global Fitness, combined forces to donate a weight lifting facility to incorporate weight training into their fitness programs.

Clutch Bodyshop believes that this facility and the equipment will give the students at Crenshaw the ability to not only recognize their abilities, but train to bring themselves opportunities to become better and more focused student athletes.

All equipment and labor was funded by Ashley and Michael, Conrad also designed the space and oversaw the project over the course of the last 6 months. The final piece of equipment needed for the room is a dumbbell rack and will symbolize the coming together of the #CLUTCHARMY.
