In Loving Memory of Dana Darcell Taylor

Donation protected

As many of us know, our beloved Dana passed away on July/14/2014. He was scheduled for a very dangerous chemo treatment to begin that same evening, but God had other plans for Dana. He decided that Dana didnt need to put himself through any more pain and suffering. As hard as it is for all of us to accept his absence on earth, he no longer suffers. Dana talked and talked and talked some more (as we can all imagine) about never giving up. He always said, "I'm not leaving here without a fight!" He stayed stronger than any of us through his battle, comforting our pain while dealing with his. His faith in God was amazing. He eased our hearts by assuring us that he was humble with whatever God's decision for him would be. His story touched so many people in ways he never imagined. Through his journey, he wanted to share his battle with everyone. He knew that sometimes it was hard for eveyone to see his physical changes but he never chose to hide. If you shared this journey with Dana, you couldnt have been anything more than MOVED by him. He became more than our friend. He became our teacher. Dana will be layed to rest in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee on July 26, 2014. The family is planning a Memorial for him in California as soon as possible. His mother, Malia Pankey has asked to please keep the donations coming in so that we can cover the expenses for the  current funeral services and the upcoming California services. Any amount is truly appreciated.

Dana..we know you are Heaven watching over us. We will find comfort in knowing your body is healed. I know God is smiling while you talk all the other Angels ears off. " Put it to you like this" If there wasnt already a Debate team in Heaven, there is one now and most of all we will picture you balling on the most amazing basketball courts of all. A part of you lives in all of us. Until we meet again...Rest in Heaven DDT.
