Surgery

Hello friends and family,

As many of you know, I have Endometriosis and it has been slowing taking over my life in so many negative ways. I have had 5 surgeries for it, 2 in just the past 2 years, in hopes to curb the pain that it causes and to eventually be able to have a baby. Over the past year it has gotten so bad that, more days than not, I can barely function; including missing a lot of time off of work and just time out of everyday life. I have been trying to get pregnant, and unfortunately, that dream will not be coming true. The endo has now spread, and continuing to spread, to other organs, including my liver and bowels. Cysts are now popping up all over in there, and I am beyond miserable. So my next step is a hysterectomy. Yesterday I confirmed my surgery date for October 9th. By having this surgery, it is supposed to take away up to 80% of the pain and stop any continued growth of the endo. As heartbreaking as it is to not be able to give birth to my own child, I have been blessed with the most amazing step children, and adaption is always on the table. And of course I have my friends' beautiful kids to love. As much as I hurt physically and mentally, I look at the people in my life, and I couldn't be more blessed. So huge thank you to all of you who have been with me through this struggle and continue to be such a support everyday to me. I can never thank you enough.

I am starting this GoFundMe because even though I have an amazing job and they provide me with awesome medical, I still have that wonderful deductible to meet and pay. I hate asking others for money or being a charity case, if you will, but after talking to friends and family, someone suggested I start a fund and that also by getting what I am going through out there, it will also help me release some of this stress and worry. So thank you again to all of you for even just taking the time to read my story.
