FUNDS RAISED! Arson Puppy's Bond Fees

Donation protected
UPDATE - $3,000 has already been raised, not inlcuding the amount shown here.

The municipal shelter in Las Vegas, The Animal Foundation, refuses to release the 27 puppies, that were involved in the deliberate fire at the Prince and Princess Pet Boutique, to the local, non-profit rescue A Home 4 Spot. Instead, they want to fight the ownership claim in court so they can hold their unethical "puppy raffle" selling non-refundable tickets for $250 a piece. The court will not be able to hear the case until March 19th. Today they told a Clark County judge it would cost them $8,000 to house the pups until this date (they originally wanted $27,000!) and they would like the plaintiff to post this amount as a bond. The judge has agreed, so now an $8,000 cash bond payment needs to be made by 9 AM PST tomorrow (3/12) for the case to continue. Otherwise, The Animal Foundation will be allowed to keep the puppies which we do not believe are rightfully theirs.

We know A Home 4 Spot will take the time to find quality, loving homes for these pups, matching them with appropriate families.  A random raffle that is more focused on raising money is not the way to do it.

In addition to deciding the fate of these poor puppies, this case also involves violations of the open meeting law, due process and anti-racketeering laws. The lawsuit also alleges civil conspiracy, unconstitutional seizing of property and that the rightful owner of the puppies has been refused the right to reclaim them. It needs to be heard.

Please make a donation of any amount, we are working directly with A Home 4 Spot. If 1,000 people each give $8 we can raise this money in one night. In the event we are not able to raise enough funds to meet the $8,000 bond, your donation will be returned to you minus any processing fees. It is possible that the bond will be returned once the case is resolved, however, we cannot guarantee that at this time.

The Animal Foundation receives $3.9 million in tax dollars annually and has $3.5 million sitting in savings.
