Bella's Pacemaker

Bella is one of 30 dogs that was taken from a breeder/hoarder bust in 2009. She is one of several dogs that Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue placed from this group. Now Bella needs a pacemaker to save her life! Her heart beats very fast and then stops for 6 seconds at a time. The pacemaker surgery takes specialized equipment and can only be done by a veterinary cardiologist. The cost of the surgery is $5000. This doesn't include the $1000 I've already spent to diagnose her and see if she is a candidate for surgery, or the cost of follow up care. Bella was rescued once, and now she needs to be rescued again, from her heart problems! Any amount donated will go directly to her vet bills. If I can raise at least part of the money to put down on the surgery, I can make payments on the rest.
