My Story -
My name is Maddi and I'm the founder of The DREAM project which stands for Developing Real education by Maddi and I aim to raise $68,000 to build a school in Cambodia. I am passionate about ensuring every child has access to an education especially girls.
The Project-
Currently Cambodia is in an extreme poverty cycle and many children especially girls are denied access to an education due to current schools being over capacity or not having a school in their area. The Tabitha Foundation has identified 20 communities who are in need of a school. My project is run through the Tabitha Foundation which is a not for-profit charity running through (RAWS), so I can guarantee that all money donated will go towards improving the lives of children and their whole community. The idea of building a school is setting up children for life, not just for today but giving them the skills to live a long happy life above the poverty line. The 6 room school will provide education for over 200 students and many more throughout the future. I believe education is the key to breaking the poverty cycle and if 68,000 people donate just $1 a school can be built and countless lives changed. By donating and sharing today you are investing in tomorrow’s future. A future of young empowered changemakers who one day will be our future leaders and the ones to create a peaceful, poverty free world. Ensuring young children have access to education is not only reinstating a basic human right but the biggest moral challenge of our generation.
