ASU Study Abroad: Trip to Fiji

Dear Friends and Family,
In June 2014, I will be embarking on an experience that I never thought possible! I have the amazing opprotunity to travel to Fiji for 8 days as part of of Arizona State University's study abroad classes.
While in Fiji we will be working in several villages on cultrally competent, sustainable global health initiatives. We will have the opproutnity for service learning, site seeing, exploring and expereincing the amazing culture.
There is no doubt that this will be an amzing life changing experience. It brings me to tears knowing I have this opprotunity, which is in part due to the Nina Mason Pullium Scholarship I have recieved.
In May, I will walk in the Spring 2014 Convocation Ceremony with the incredible people I have had the opprotunity to get to know over the past 4 years. Shortly after, I will be heading to Fiji for my last class before recieving my Bachelors in Social Work!
My trip to Fiji is final except for raising the funds for my plane ticket. The ticket needs to be bought in advance before the summer session begins. I am looking for the support of my friends and family to help me raise 1700 dollars to pay for the airfare.
I need to purchase the ticket by April 10th, your love and support has helped me achive so many of my goals these past few years, thank you for all the continued encouragement!
