Josh's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
This is Josh, one of the sweetest boys I've ever met. When I think of him, I always think about the fact that he's never come into my house without saying "hi" to my son Max first. Seems like no big deal until you realize that Max has severe autism and rarely returns Josh's greeting. That's never stopped Josh from being Max's friend. This past weekend Josh was burned during a campfire accident. He was flown to a burn center in Fresno where he is being kept sedated due to the intense pain he is experiencing. He sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns to approximately 40% of his body. Currently, his eyes are swollen shut and he is intubated which means during the brief moments when he is awake he is unable to see or speak to his parents. Doctors are optimistic that he will recover although it will take

multiple surgeries each week for many weeks to come and intense physical therapy. The purpose of this fund is to assist the family and Josh in any way they might need. They live in Highland and were camping when this tragedy occurred so they are displaced to Fresno while Josh recuperates. Donations will be used to help them with the expenses needed for his family to stay with him and to keep everyone comfortable during the next few months that doctors expect Josh will have to stay in the hospital. Please help this sweet boy, I'm sure he would help if it was you. That's just the kind of kid he is.
