Edward's Road to Recovery

On Monday 3 March 2014, Edward Burchett, our friend and colleague collapsed in his home, he was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with Guillain"“Barré syndrome, his recovery will take quite a long time, during his recovery he will have no income. Treatment and palliative care will take much of his benefits leaving little for expenses.

Ed was born in Portland Oregon; he has been an active member of his community. He has served as a valued member of the Army National Guard for 14 years, to include deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. He is also an active member of his church, serving on the praise team, working with local youth programs and helping with men's ministries. He enjoys spending time with his family, tending to his animals and fishing.
