Jud's Cancer Treatment
We at Houlihans's Downtown Columbus, GA are trying to raise money in support of our good friend and co-worker Jud Spencer. Jud recently received the awful news that he has cancer and will begin treatment as soon as possible. While we remain optimistic that Jud can beat this, he will have many expenses he and his family will incur. Help us relieve this burden some and allow Jud to focus on himself. " ..so here's the deal. I was diagnosed with a stage IV embryonal carcinoma that has made its way into a few retroperitoneal lymph nodes and into my lungs. This is not a very common cancer, so we'll be traveling to Indiana to meet with a doctor who works with the doctor who created the treatment protocol for this kind of cancer. The plan is to hopefully start the chemo treatments by the end of the month. All of this wasn't necessarily fun to hear, but here are a few praises. Number one, we caught it before it made it into my brain. That would have made things a bit more complicated. Number two, even though the cancer is stage IV, it still has a very high cure/treatment rate. It'll take some pretty potent chemotherapy, but I am more than confident that this cancer doesn't stand a chance. Just a few things to pray about if you don't mind."
