Medical Mission to Kenya

Donation protected
Once again, I will be joining one of the largest of 21 groups who volunteer with KenyaRelief.Org .  Kenya Relief owns 60 acres of land in Migori, Kenya where they’ve established an orphanage, school, and medical clinic.  In addition, Kenya Relief is in the process of putting the finishing touches on a 300-bed medical center.

The medical care needs in Kenya are overwhelming.  I have the opportunity to do as God has called me – to use my time and talent to help!  I will be teaming up with a special group as one of the medical-surgical mission teams.  We will be helping patients who would not be able to afford surgery without this project.  Kenya Relief is sending over twenty teams this year and so far each team has been able to deliver free medical care and prescriptions to the many in need.

I am blessed as God has given me a special assignment.  I will be administering anesthesia to those in need of ears, nose and throat surgeries.

I am attempting to raise funds for the  February 28, 2018 trip since the cost for me to go will be approximately $3,500.  I am asking everyone to support me , not only in prayer, but financially as well.  I am also asking everyone to consider helping by continue to deliver free healthcare.

Will you consider donating at least $1?  Every dollar helps continue to provide love, spiritual support, and medical relief to this devastated area.

KenyaRelief.Org  began in 1998, when once 16 year old Brittney James decided she wanted to sponsor a young Kenyan boy named Newton after seeing a Christian Children’s Fund commercial.  For three years, she made monthly payments.  She aspired to one day make a trip to Kenya to meet Newton fact to face, but at the age of 19, Britney was killed while she was away at college.

After Brittney died, her father Steve felt he had to go to Kenya to meet Newton.  Steve was heartbroken for the Kenyan people, especially the orphans and the AIDS victims.  So he started the Brittney James Child Fund , now known as KenyaRelief.org.
