Staying alive

I have congestive heart failure. Which causes shortness of breath and massive fluid retention that could result in sudden death, basically I' m drowning. My heart is operating at 20% & I will need to get a difibulator ( pace maker). I quit my job since I could no longer be on my feet 8 hours a day & stock shelves or do any of the necessary tasks of the job. Now I'm out of money. I've applied for disability but have no idea when that will begin. I'm staying in a shack-like cabin up on top of a canyon (1.2 miles up) which is the worst place for me in this condition. Since I can barely move, I've fallen down my treacherous stairway twice. The only way I can get down to Sunset Blvd to get food & supplies is by taxi or car service which I can no longer afford. I don't know how I'm going to come up with next month's rent or the $ for my numerous prescriptions ( $140.00). Bottom line is I'm scared. I can no longer take care of myself. I need a little help until I get on disability, EBT and MedCal. Just trying to survive. Thank you.
