Hi All! Well I did it....I start my new job next week at Dynacare labs and I'm thrilled. The salary is almost 30% less than what I was making before, but it is much better than the $700/month I currently receive from welfare.
However I cannot afford to live where I am currently and need to move ASAP. I have been living here on borrowed time for many months and of course I owe many $1000's on all my utilites and back rent. I have a deadline of June 30th to pay all the money I owe here ($4,200) and obviously I'm not going to meet it, which is why I started this campaign.
I started this page in hopes that I could raise first/last month's rent and moving expenses for a new place and to keep my car on the road so I can get to my job, I desperately need some assistance to get myself back on my feet financially and gain back some self respect.
I have tried everyway and agency I could think of to do this on my own, but the hole is just too deep.
I know most of you budget just to make end's meet every month, but at this point, anything would help me.
My landlord has worked with me up until now, but formally stated that after June 30th he will have to give me notice if I can't pay up, which means I must be out of here in July. The timing stinks, since I need to focus and apply my energy on my new job and plan on working 12 hours a day to earn a good work reputation, but that's life.
If there is anything you can spare to help I will be eternally grateful.
