Hi, my name is Lauren. I’m Trying to raise money for my store manager who was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer on 11/8/16. She is very stressed and worried about how much time she will be off of work (she is very behind on her bills!). I’m making this so she can just focus on herself and not her bills. She is still behind on her rent from the time she was off work last time (10/21/16- 02/13/17). Whatever you are able to give is greatly appreciated!!

Her Story- On 10/20/16 our store manager was rushed to the emergency room, it was determined that one gallstone had traveled to her pancreas, which inflamed it and gave her pancreatitis. She had a stint put in and had her gallbladder removed on 10/24/16. She went for a follow up so she could go back to work on 11/8/16. The doctors then told her she had cancer, gallbladder cancer. She had a second stay in the hospital on 12/8/16 for her surgery (They had to clean where the gallbladder touched). She was in the hospital until 12/14/17. On 12/20/17 she went in for a follow up with the surgeon to get the staples and drain tube removed. They thought she was dehydrated, so they sent her to the emergency room. After the test, it was discovered that the surgeon had put a tiny hole in her bowels, which gave her a major infection. She spent the next 16 days in the hospital (12/20/16 - 01/05/17). On 01/22/17 she was rushed to the hospital again because her heart was racing, again she was admitted and they said it was due to too much stress and worrying. After going back to work, she is faced with making a choice. Chemo- 3 weeks on, 1 week off for 6 months, or not to do anything. If she chooses not to do chemo, and the cancer returns, it will be stage 4 and nothing could be done, no cure. I want her to be able to do chemo without having to think about anything else but getting better.
