UPDATE: Jason suffered complications and passed away. He was laid to rest yesterday, Monday, March 24, 2014. Any help with final expenses and helping Christa get back on her feet would be greatly appreciated.
jason lafleur was diagnosed with stage iv colon cancer in september 2013 at the age of 39. he grew up in sulphur, la and now lives in moss bluff, la with his wife, christa lafleur, his step-son, devin owen, and his daughter, alise lafleur. jason had just begun an employment internship as an operator for axiall. since september he has been in and out of the hospital. he has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments and is now beginning a new regimen. he has fought different set backs since the beginning, but has never given up! he is a fun loving person that's not afraid to take chances. he is a lifelong dallas cowboy fan! christa, his wife, is a teacher at gillis elementary and has exhausted all of her leave time. all help will be greatly appreciated as this lengthy illness has greatly affected this family.
