4th Annual Thanksgiving Drive

Several years ago I was asked to help a friend deliver Thanksgiving Day meals to families less fortunate than ours and I gladly accepted. After delivering full Thanksgiving day meals to 4 different families (and seeing the look on their faces) I decided that I wanted to be involved in this more than just delivering meals.

I decided that I wanted to be the one who donated the meals to families in need, so I called my local parish and received a list of 12 families that could use a Thanksgiving Day meal. We arranged the meals and delivered those meals to each family. The appreciation that they showed was something that I will never forget.

Since then, each year, our number of families has grown from 4 families helped in 2013 to 100 families (400+ people) helped last year. I couldn't have done it without the help of everyone who donated privately or through Go Fund Me.

This year I would like to help as many families as I can but I need your help. Each meal (from turkey and all the trimmings to dessert) costs about $40 each. If you would like more information, please visit: Helping Hands in the Northeast!
