<div>I am very excited to share that I will be back to Moving Mountains! This February, I’ll be taking on Mount Aconcagua, the second-tallest peak of the Seven Summits, standing at 6,960 meters!

<div>Through the guidance of ABLE &amp; LHO making this expedition accessible, I will proudly represent the community of people with disabilities and overcome perceived limitations.

<div>Some of you may already know that I live with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a rare eye condition that gradually narrows my world, turning moments of clarity into shadows. Each day with RP feels like walking a line between holding on to what I can still see and preparing to let go of the familiar sights around me. The path isn’t easy, and facing the thought of one day losing my vision entirely is something that sits with me every day.

<div>Since my last journey to Kilimanjaro, life has taken on a new meaning, thanks to Sherlock, my incredible guide dog. Sherlock isn’t just my eyes — he’s my courage, my freedom, and a steady presence on the days I feel the weight of RP the most. Together, we’ve found a way to reclaim moments of independence and strength.

<div>I am hoping to raise €20,000 to make it on the mountain and support the Federation of Guide Dogs in France (FFAC) that brought Sherlock into my life and thus, support the visually impaired. Indeed, despite the high cost, the FFAC supports the free provision of guide dogs to the visually impaired and the blind, thanks to generous and voluntary donations. The cost of this 21-day expedition, including equipment and guiding support, is €9,500, every contribution brings me one step closer to the summit, and each euro beyond that will go directly to the FFAC.

<div>Je suis ravi de vous annoncer mon retour dans l’aventure Moving Mountains ! En février prochain, je vais me lancer à l’assaut de l’Aconcagua, le deuxième plus haut sommet des Sept Sommets, culminant à 6 960 mètres !

<div>Certains d’entre vous savent peut-être déjà que je suis atteint de la rétinite pigmentaire (RP), une maladie oculaire rare qui rétrécit progressivement mon monde, transformant la clarté en ombres. Chaque jour avec la RP c’est comme marcher sur un fil, entre s’accrocher à ce que je peux encore voir et me préparer à renoncer aux paysages familiers qui m’entourent. Le chemin n’est pas facile, et faire face à l’idée de perdre complètement la vue un jour est une pensée avec laquelle je vis au quotidien.

<div>Depuis mon dernier voyage au Kilimandjaro, la vie a pris un nouveau sens, grâce à Sherlock, mon incroyable chien-guide. Sherlock n’est pas seulement mes yeux — il est mon courage, ma liberté et une présence constante les jours où le poids de la RP se fait le plus sentir. Ensemble, nous avons trouvé des moyens pour retrouver force et indépendance.

<div>J’espère recueillir 20 000€ pour l'expédition et pour soutenir la Fédération Française des Associations de Chiens-guides d’aveugles (FFAC), qui m’a permis de rencontrer Sherlock, et ainsi, aider la communauté des personnes malvoyantes. En effet, malgré un coût élevé, la FFAC remet gratuitement les chiens-guides aux malvoyants et aux aveugles et ce, grâce à de généreux dons. En sachant que le coût de cette expédition de 21 jours, y compris l’équipement et le soutien des guides, s’élève à 9500€, chaque contribution me rapprochera un peu plus du sommet, et chaque euro supplémentaire ira directement à la FFAC.
