studying in ghana

Hello! I have been accepted to study abroad through my school the University of Washington in Ghana, Africa to engage in the Sankofa experience. Sankofa stands for knowing your past in order to progress in the future, going back and bringing out the good things into the present in order to strive through the future. While on this trip I will be exploring the slave trade along the coast while exploring identity. I AM EXTREMELY EXCITED AND THANKFUL! However, I am unable to fund the full $5,000 to cover all expenses. I of course plan to contribute and will have fun watching my goal slowly be reached.
