Hello everyone my name is siobhan and I have created this fundraiser for a dear friend.

Her family are in great need of some support.

A few years ago my friend was diagnosed with MS, a debilitating and progressive disease. sadly her condition has deteriorated significantly and her husband had to stop working and become a stay at home carer.

They are a beautiful family who have always helped others and up until and even now! My friend and her husband continue to try and help everyone they can and have never ever asked for any help in return.

She is only 34 years old with three beautiful girls, aged 10,8,4. Her husband is a very caring man doing his best to support the family. I recently reached out to them as I felt it in my heart that something just wasn’t right.

In doing so I discovered that she hasn’t been able to go in her own garden with her children for such a long time because it needs work to level it out. She has had many falls and so it’s no longer safe for her.

The house has been kept the best it can but with the day to day challenges building up and no external support from family as sadly they are on their own; things have fallen behind schedule.

My dear friends husband has also got his own chronic health condition and so finds it difficult in flare ups to manage it all, but still he is trying to rebuild his business and is part time in making his own photography company to try and be more independent but this comes with other challenges as the house needs some works done to make it more accessible and safe for my friend to be with the children without her husband.

Despite all these challenges they face, they are a great faith filled loving family and make an incredible team.

Their children are well rounded joyfully little people who understand so much about being able to just be children but also have a level of understanding on day to day living.

I am calling out to all around me to help me raise this money so I can get their garden levelled and fake grass fitted so mama can be outside with her babies this summer, and so that the children’s bedrooms and mama and papa can have a bedroom space to rest and relax too.

This is such a deserving family they have never asked for help and they also have no idea about the fundraiser.

In fact they would absolutely tell me not too as they are doing what they can quietly to save and get by on basics and the bare minimum as not to be “too bothersome” for anyone.

And so this is the narrative I want to change for them.

I want to remind them that they are loved and that they do deserve to get a little back from what they have given over the years and also that they do deserve to have a home they can access and make memories in.

The memories are the biggest drive for this project because of my friends health and now her husband this is the time for them to make as many as possible with their children and my God they deserve this!

So please whatever you can, if you can please donate to this cause for a truly beautiful family who face daily challenges and struggles but have never given up and deserve to enjoy the precious memories with their babies.

And if you cannot donate please please pray into this project too as they are a Christian family and have faith so will greatly appreciate prayers for their circumstances too.
