Ministry Launch--Poland

Hello from Minsk Mazowiecki, Poland!  I'm Lavern Hershberger, and since 2001 I've been living here with my wife, Lolita, and 4 children.  We serve with Anabaptist International Ministries.  We reach out, teach, and share God's love and salvation with everyone we can.  Through our English language school, monthly magazine with a circulation of 4,100, conferences, and musical events, we aim to take the opportunities that God places in our path to share the gospel.  Take a look at this website to get a better picture of the dire need for the gospel in Poland.

For several years we have been praying for another family to join us here to help in the work.  The good news is that there is a family willing to come.  Jonathan and Heather Miller have felt that God is leading them to move to Poland.  We know them well--Heather is Lolita's sister!  So that will be a double blessing.  We feel they will be a significant asset to God's work here.

The only holdup to Jonathans coming is $3,750 more in funding for their move.  The AIM mission board will be able to move ahead with moving Jonathans to Poland as soon as this amount is received.  If you would be able to contribute to help make it possible for them to come soon, we would appreciate it so much!  Any amount will help.  They will also be dependent on support from the U.S. for living in Poland through the coming years, and would be glad for anyone willing to regularly support them.  God bless you for your interest, and please pray for Poland!
