Celebration of life memorial

Hey everyone, my name is Sarah. I’m trying to raise enough money to arrange a beautiful celebration of life party for my mother. My mother was a type 2 diabetic and in 2020 she unfortunately was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure. Over the years, my family and I were there with her every step of the way throughout the multiple doctors visits & helping her with dialysis. Over the years my sweet mother just gradually grew more tired, in pain and sick. Her physical decline was very hard as for my mother was a type of person to constantly be on the go, planning some type of trip, project or recipe to cook for her family. It seemed like nothing could stop this woman. She was the most genuine, caring person. If she only had $10 to her name, she’d lend it to someone who needed it more. If you came over hungry, she fed you. If you called her needing to simply talk, you’d be on the phone for hours. She had the type of energy that just made you feel warm, welcomed and very loved. She truly had a gift with people. My mother was a lover of all things beautiful as well. Everything from cooking, art pieces, music, movies, cars, makeup, hair… anything that involves an art, my mom was infatuated. She also loved bargain shopping, she could always find the best deals. She loved to paint and sing as well, she sounded like an angel. She was a truly devoted super fan to the artist Prince! She had gone on multiple trips to his tribute mansion and made many many friends along the way, her purple people! My mom also loved road trips (falling asleep in the car) and beautiful sunsets… anytime she saw a beautiful sunset, she always said to me “it’s going to be a good day tomorrow”. My mom was always a very positive, happy go lucky person. Nothing could dim her sparkle, and if it sorta did, she would find something to make her happy in 5mns or less. She never stayed mad for too long. Never let anything bother her peace and her way of loving. Forgive and love anyways is my moms way of life. She was just a truly amazingly beautiful woman, inside and out. I know that she deserves a beautiful memorial party with all of her family and friends who love her so much. Where we can all come together and share all of the beautiful and funny memories of my mommy. She may not have wanted a funeral… she said those are dark and depressing. She wanted us to remember her and CELEBRATE her life. She wanted us to be happy, laugh and love in memory of her, and keep her brilliant spirit alive!
