Honduras here we come! Words can't describe how excited we are to say that this July we will be traveling to Honduras for a mission trip. We will be traveling to different villages to work with the community to better their everyday life.
For the past year Kelly has been teaching in a community where her students come from all different parts of the world, mostly from very similar areas as Honduras. We believe that this mission trip will help Kelly better understand the students and where they come from which will help her have a deeper understanding of her students!!
Today we are asking our family, friends, and community to help us raise money for our trip. The funding will go towards our trip, the flight and a donation to the community. As many of you know, we are both very hard working and asking for people to help is a step outside the comfort zone. However, we feel that your donation is more than just funding a trip. It is funding two warm hearted, loving people to help better the lives of the less fortunate. It's a way for us to give back to people who need help.
We can't wait to open our hearts, learn about a different way of living, and meet people who need Support.
With your support we will be able to work alongside a team of volunteer to help the community. We will be visiting a village every day. We could be helping in the pineapple fields, teaching the children, helping mothers get food, building houses and MUCH MORE!
