Downpayment and Closing Cost

Many years ago, I fell in love with a Craftman style house that I would drive by on my way to work.  About 3 years ago, we outgrew the house we were living in and were able to move into the dream home with the plan of putting enough money back to afford to buy it quickly.  With my medical bills, my daughters orthodontic work and vehicle repairs, things didn't go as planned.  The owner of the house (a very kind and patient man) has informed us that he would like to see the house sold fairly soon so we are getting as much together as we can.

My first venture into GoFundMe was to pay down medical bills so we could get a loan easier.  That didn't pan out very well and we discovered ,while talking to a mortgage broker, that all we need to come up with is approximately $4,000 - $5,000 in the next 4 months to be able to purchase the house we are living in.  So I have reduced the amount from $10,000 for medical bills to $4,000 for a downpayment and closing costs.  We are continuing to trim costs and will be selling our extra stuff to put back as much as we can.

Any amount you can fund us would be greatly appreciated to help us reach our goal.  As the old adage goes "Every penny counts".
