Hope for Emma

My name is Sierra, and I am the wife of my wonderful husband Jake, and mother of my two amazing daughters Addison (2 years old) and Emma (4 weeks old)! 

When Emma was 5 days old, she got very sick with pneumonia and bronchitis, she wasn't putting on weight, and she started to look more and more sick. When Emma turned 10 days old she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and our worlds felt shattered. Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited life-threatening disease that damages the lungs and digestive system, treatment can help, but at this point their is no cure for Emma's disease. That being said, there are many advancements in the medical field, and we have hope that in Emma's lifetime they will find a cure!

Emma is a sick child, already my husband and I have been draining our savings paying for Emma's test, hospital visits, xrays, etc. She has health insurance, but as we all know, that doesn't cover everything, and her disease will require an incredible amount of time, money, treatment, etc.

I have no money goal with this gofundme page I started, this disease will affect Emma for the rest of her life, I started this to pay for Emma's trips to sacred heart (which are very frequent), her treatments and her medication.
