Viva's Medical Fund

For everyone that may not know on Wedenesday June 21st my mother, Viva Krause, was rushed to the nearest hospital because she was struggling to breathing. The doctor let us know that her scans showed she had a large brain bleed most likely in result of a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was then helicoptered to a hospital that has an outstanding neurological unit. After their evaluation, the doctors confirmed she had a subarachnoid hemorrhage from a ruptured cerebral “brain” aneurysm. The next day she went into surgery to clip the aneurism and the surgeon said there were no complications. She is currently breathing on her own, eating, talking, and even still has her wonderful sense of humor. Through much therapy they are continually working on her physical and mental state. While in the ICU they discovered that she now has meningitis. Meningitis is relatively common after brain surgery but it is still an infection and something they are keeping a close eye on. The meningitis and her mental state are most likely going to prolong her stay in the ICU.  The brain is an extremely complex machine and are unsure of what her future will look it. Any little amount you can donate to help with her current and future living expenses would be such a blessing.

To those of you who have never had the pleasure of crossing paths with my mom yet she is an incredible woman. Her outer beauty is evident in this photo but her inner beauty is what truly shines. She is so empathetic and gets along with EVERYONE! We can’t wait for the day you get to meet her.
