Bench for Charles

With the loss of our presious Charles and the passing of time, my heart has desired to find a way to honor my nephews memory and to show his family how much Charles was loved. In their grief many know that Pam and John spend much time visiting with their son (though he is not truly there for he is in heaven)For them this is where they feel the closest to him and are comforted and renewed for another day. So the Lord has put it upon my heart to raise money to purchase a memorial bench in honor of Charles. This way when they visit they can sit on there sons bench , when they tire of kneel-ing by his grave. Abviously this memorial bench will outlast Pam and Johns life, A bench in theirs sons name , a place of rest for the the weary and broken hearted for many years to come. A plot has already been purchased under a beautiful tree very close to Charles grave.Now all that is needed is the bench. It has to be of certain and specific qualities fitting for a cemetary and approved by them. Prices range from5,000 to10,000. When I realized the price I was a little intimidated, but the Lord laid this upon my heart and I trust in Him to provide. Any amount, no matter the size is a gift from God and a wonderful blessing.



A poem written in honor of Charles and his memorial bench. There is a place where one might go to rest and contemplate. You would not desire to go if you were not brought there by fate. For there would be no reason for you to come in this peaceful haven. But now you linger a moment longer and clinge to the memories your saving. As you are remembering so quickly the tears will flow.Though your heart is breaking there is no place you would rather go. Yes, a place of great sorrow for a loved one so dear, but it is here you feel the closest, it is here you feel so near. For this is where they laid you, to soon you have departed, only the Lord knows why you had to leave us so soon and broken hearted. But this is truely not your final resting place. For you are with the angles in Heaven seeing Jesus Face to face. The day will come when this place will bring more joy than sorrow. Rejoicing in the memories of the past looking forward to tomorows. Truely i thank the Lord for this place that I can come. Spending time with my precious child, my heavenly departed one.
